18 Sep Digging our Latest Award
We’re blooming here at Tree Tops after scooping a top gardening award.
For a quarter of a century, we have picked up an award from Wales in Bloom.
This year we’re delighted to have taken top spot in the best caravan park (over 100 units) category, fending off competition from other Welsh parks.
To win an award from Wales in Bloom for 25 years on the trot is no mean feat and every year our gardening team put huge amounts of time and effort into landscaping, theming and planting out our caravan park.
We’re particularly thrilled with the judge’s comments this year which reflect the hard work and dedication of our green-fingered team.
During the judge’s visit to our park, he told us there were elements that could be picked up and put down in the Chelsea flower show as a display and praised the fact we had, in effect, created a garden which happened to have caravans in it!
Here at Tree Tops, we use some 16,000 plants every year, ensuring our caravan park is at its best throughout the seasons. But we’re not standing still – we’ve currently got our eyes on revamping our informal Japanese garden all ready for next year’s judging.
Current Tree Toppers will know our team of gardeners – David, Graham, John, Sion, Derek – so do stop and say congratulations when you see them hard at work on the latest project!
