10 May Tree Tops Caravan Park: Making dreams a reality
Nestled high on a hillside with breathtaking views of the most spectacular coastline, Tree Tops Caravan Park in North Wales started life as one couple’s dream. And how that idea has grown!
Farmer John Owen and wife Sian sowed the seeds for the park in the 1950s when swine fever hit and they lost their 300 pigs.
With a young family to support, the enterprising couple decided to diversify and make the most of their land. And so Tree Tops Caravan Park was born!
Over the years, the Gwespyr caravan park has expanded but the ethos remains the same…
Warm, welcoming, and a real ‘home-from-home.’
The park is now run by Andrew Walker, John and Sian’s grandson, along with parents Maureen and Harry.
Today, in its sixth decade, Tree Tops is preparing to open its latest development, Parc Ynys Hir, which will be home to an additional 52 plots.
Andy says:
We’ve come a long way since those early days and the opening of Parc Ynys Hir marks another milestone in our history. Tree Tops has gently expanded over the years but our ethos hasn’t changed – we’re a homely park, family-run, and friendly. From day one my family wanted to create a place where people can make memories, switch off, and relax. That’s still the case today.
Tree Tops Caravan Park is set in 30 acres of award-winning gardens and has its own team to keep the site looking its very best all year round.
We have a range of luxury caravans and lodges for sale with the park offering competitive pitch fees.
Pet‐friendly Tree Tops also has a children’s play area, outdoor gym and a launderette.
But there are some things money can’t buy.
